The 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon debuted at the 2010 New York Auto Show and is slated to arrive in dealer showrooms sometime this fall. As with its sedan stablemate, the base Sport Wagon will be powered by a 2.4-liter inline-4 engine. We anticipate the 3.5-liter V6 will also be available and both variants will be front-wheel drive.
The 2011 TSX Sport Wagon will add plenty of utility to the sedan model and will also feature additional storage under the cargo floor. Besides the added space, we expect the new wagon to offer similar standard features and options. As such, the Sport Wagon will compete with the likes of the Audi A4 Avant, BMW 3 Series Wagon and Volvo V50 as well as offering an alternative to premium crossover SUVs.
We've yet to drive the 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon, but check back later in the year for a full review.
